The project was implemented by getting-up artists DAIM, TASEK and Daddy Cool, as well as the graffiti artists seak and Desur. Over a period of several days, the history of graffiti was sprayed and painted onto a 30-metre long wall. From the curved tags of the early days to the bubble style of the eighties or the style mix of the “next generation”, a graffiti style connecting street art with digital media.

Prior to the project’s kick-off, Simone Ashoff, managing director of Jung von Matt/next, explained, “We are extremely pleased to have found a world-class team of artists for this project. Together, we are going to carry out a spectacular communication experiment – street art meets new media, excellent artists meet the latest digital technologies.”
Mirko Reisser aka DAIM saw the project as an opportunity to discover new approaches and techniques for expressing graffiti art: “We will use the entire range of styles and techniques on the wall. Our central objective is to conquer new areas with graffiti, areas such as the internet or the mobile phone. The JvM-project is a chance for us to experiment everything within the realms of possibility.
