In 2009 the Hamburg Marketing GmbH commissioned the artistic collective getting-up with the design a huge banner, with which the federal state of Hamburg wanted to present itself at the annual “Bundesländer-Schau”, an event at which the federal states are presented.

canvas-prints for Blohm+Voss
In 2007 getting-up was commissioned by the Hamburg shipyard Blohm+Voss to design a huge banner featuring typical characteristics of the company. In 2008 the company requested that parts of the design be printed on a series of canvasses, and this request was duly fulfilled.

a huge banner for Blohm+Voss
By order of the shipyard Blohm+Voss, getting-up designed a huge banner entitled “Around The World” in 2007.
Bohm + Voss has been a technological market leader in the shipbuilding sector for decades and currently ranks among the world’s top suppliers of components for the shipbuilding industry. getting-up was commissioned to create a banner that reflected Bohm + Voss’ achievements.

Dock-Art – 2,000 m² of graffiti art in the Port of Hamburg
In April 2001, a supersize art banner was hung in Hamburg’s port: 2.000 m² of graffiti art covering one of the city’s most well-known spots — Blohm+Voss’ legendary dock 10.
The huge picture was the result of two years of work by getting-up, the technical knowledge of PosterNetwork AG, Hamburg as well as financial support by ENTERASYS. The model for the poster was a ca. 600 m² measuring spray painted mural that was created in two weeks time on the walls of a former warehouse.
